Tanishq, one of India’s most trusted jewelry houses, has taken another major step in its North American journey by launching two new boutiques in Tysons, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida. These openings mark the brand’s eighth and ninth stores in the United States, reinforcing its long-term commitment to connecting with customers across key American markets. Both inaugurations featured festive celebrations, including ribbon cuttings, diya ceremonies, live music, and the participation of distinguished guests.
The new 5,500 sq. ft. Virginia showroom is located at Tysons Corner, positioned at 8065 Leesburg Pike, Suite 120. Set in one of the country’s most vibrant retail hubs, the store sits at the heart of a community that includes a large Indian and South Asian population from Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. Visitors can explore a wide array of collections, from everyday wear to bridal and occasion pieces. Popular lines such as Celeste Solitaires, Elan, and Embrace are showcased prominently, offering customers a mix of traditional artistry and modern design.
The Virginia launch welcomed Vinay Mohan Kwatra, India’s Ambassador to the U.S., as the chief guest. Other attendees included Virginia State Senator Kannan Srinivasan, CII North America Director Shuchita Sonalika, Tata Group North America Resident Director Michael McCabe, and Tanishq Jewelry Division CEO Arun Narayan. “Tysons represents one of the most energetic retail destinations in America,” said Amritpal Singh, Business Head for TCL North America Inc., highlighting the region’s rich cultural diversity and strong jewelry market.
Meanwhile, the new 1,800 sq. ft. Orlando boutique is located inside the Florida Mall, positioned near the Primark entrance at 8001 S. Orange Blossom Trail. Orlando was chosen for its status as a fast-growing metropolitan area and a global tourist magnet, drawing millions of visitors annually. The region also has a significant South Asian community, making it an ideal site for Tanishq to introduce its craftsmanship to a wider audience.
The Orlando store features more than 5,000 pieces, including exclusive collections designed for the local market. Shoppers will find the Heart Collection, Birthstones, the Paper Clip Collection, and an array of gold, diamond, and gemstone jewelry suitable for gifting, festivities, weddings, and daily wear. Unique to this location, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted collectively by all women present. Senior Titan and Tanishq leaders, including CEO Arun Narayan, attended the celebration.
“Tanishq sees Orlando as a gateway to a global customer base,” Singh noted, emphasizing the city’s dynamic mix of residents, travelers, and jewelry enthusiasts.
A brand under the TATA Group, Tanishq has redefined Indian luxury jewelry by merging tradition with contemporary elegance. With more than 400 stores across India and international markets, the brand has become a global symbol of artistry and trust. In the U.S., Tanishq now operates 10 boutiques across major cities including New Jersey, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Seattle, Atlanta, Santa Clara, Virginia, Orlando, and Boston.
