A grand spiritual gathering celebrating the Bhagavad Gita took place at Allen Stadium in Dallas, drawing more than 10,000 attendees from across the globe. The event was spearheaded by spiritual luminary Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, the revered leader of Avadhoota Datta Peetham.
This international assembly marked a momentous occasion as devotees collectively recited all 700 verses of the Bhagavad Gita in unison. Following last year’s overwhelming success, participants from 14 different nations once again joined forces to share in this powerful spiritual experience.
Under Swamiji’s guidance, many followers have memorized the sacred scripture, reporting transformative personal growth and deeper spiritual awareness. His mission continues to spread the universal message of the Bhagavad Gita, fostering harmony and unity among people of diverse backgrounds.
For over six decades, Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji has been guiding millions of devotees through mantra initiation, spiritual teachings, and temple establishments dedicated to Karya Siddhi Hanuman and Lord Dattatreya both in India and abroad. His work emphasizes the timeless values of Sanatana Dharma.
In the past ten years, Swamiji has expanded this mission in the United States by actively promoting the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita to people of all ages. Children, youth, and adults alike have been inspired to study and embrace the scripture’s lessons, which offer guidance for righteous living in the modern world.
2025 marks a significant milestone as both the SGS Gita Foundation and the Gita Mahayajna initiative, founded by Swamiji, celebrate their tenth anniversary. These programs aim to make the Gita accessible to everyone, regardless of age or background.
So far, the SGS Gita Foundation has trained more than 500 educators worldwide. In the United States alone, there are 30 active learning centers where over 250 volunteer teachers conduct regular Gita classes. This movement welcomes participants ranging from toddlers to senior citizens, reinforcing the idea that spiritual wisdom is for everyone.
